Our story

Pavels, founder of Camel Digital, spent his early career inside a SaaS company.

At Infogram, later acquired by Prezi, he ran paid campaigns and watched how SaaS is actually bought. He saw how long the trial-to-paid path really is. How LTV varies wildly across product lines. How a campaign that looks good on clicks can quietly burn budget on users who churn in 30 days.

When he started working with SaaS clients, he kept seeing the same problem. Agencies treating SaaS like ecommerce. Optimising for CPL, not CAC. Chasing volume, not quality. Running campaigns without asking what the customer was actually worth.

Camel Digital started from a simple conviction.

Built for product-led growth

Most of our clients grow through a freemium or free trial model. Users sign up, explore the product, and convert to paid without ever talking to sales.

That model needs a specific approach to PPC. Ads need to reach users who'll actually activate, not just click. Landing pages need to speak to someone who wants to try before they buy. And every campaign needs to tie back to what happens after the signup, not just the signup itself.

We know how to bring in high-intent users at a CAC your unit economics can support. And we know which keywords, audiences, and product lines to avoid.

One PLG design tool we work with has multiple product lines at very different lifetime values. We built campaigns around the high-LTV use cases and excluded the rest entirely. The result: 140 to 190 new paid customers every month from paid search.

Honesty before revenue

If PPC isn't the right move yet, we'll say so. Even if it costs us the contract. We'd rather lose a deal than take on an account we can't move.

SaaS isn't ecommerce

A conversion isn't a purchase. A trial isn't a customer. CAC matters more than CPL. MRR matters more than revenue this quarter. We build campaigns around SaaS metrics: trials, demos, paying customers, and LTV.

Understanding your business model is the job

We look at what your product costs to acquire and what a customer is worth over their lifetime before we recommend a channel or a budget. If your LTV is $40, there are keywords we shouldn't be on.

Where we're based

Camel Digital is based in Riga, Latvia.

Riga is often called the Silicon Valley of Eastern Europe. Our office is a few skips from the Old Town (Vecrīga), a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's a great place to get lost — or think about SaaS unit economics.
